Rogation Service Livestream

Sunday 9 May is Rogation Sunday, the day when the church focusses particularly on asking God's blessing on agriculture. Rogation comes from the Latin 'rogare' - to ask. Rogation falls on the sixth Sunday of Easter, just before Ascension Day. Doorstep Carols Suffolk Highlights

It was fantastic to see so many people join together across Suffolk to take part in the 'Doorstep Carols' event. On Wednesday the 16th many gathered in their streets to sing carols broadcast by Radio Suffolk, to spread some Christmas joy. Some of the footage in this video was submitted on the public Doorstep Carols facebook group, which became a sharing community in the build up to the event. Enjoy opera singer Christina Johnston’s fabulous performance of a seasonal classic, Have yourself a merry little Christmas adapted for Christmas during Covid-19. “Let’s share ourselves” says the song and refers to the national Doorstep Carols Initiative: “Christmas Joy be sung from every festive door”
