2021 Lightwave AGM
25th May 2021, 7:30pm on Zoom
Come and find out more about Lighwave and read below about ways to get involved!
You are warmly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting for the Lightwave Community on Zoom on the 25th May 2021 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. This will be a great opportunity to find out more about what Lightwave has done in the past year and plans for the future.
Details of the meeting are in the formal notice linked here. Note that anyone is very welcome to and participate but only those who are members of currently registered Lightwave Groups and therefore on our electoral roll are eligible to vote. You can vote on zoom via video, so we don't intend to offer postal voting.
If you are planning to attend, because of the Covid situation and to ensure security for those joining online, we ask that you confirm your attendance by clicking on this link to sign up.
We will send out a zoom link a few days before the meeting.
Details of the procedure for updating the electoral roll, and for nominations to stand for election to the Lightwave Community Council are being sent out separately to Lightwave group leaders and members. If you have not seen this and would like a copy or for any other queries please email andrew.gosden [at] cofesuffolk.org or call him on 07711 753312. Or download the documents below.
Membership of the Lightwave Electoral Roll
Only those members of registered Lightwave Groups who are enrolled on the Lightwave Community Electoral Roll are eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting and to serve on the Council. If you or a member of your group would like to join the electoral roll you can enroll by clicking the link here (note this is shown as an “event”, but it’s not, just a convenient way of us capturing the data)
If you are not sure whether a member is already enrolled then please give Andrew Gosden a call and he will confirm.
Nominations for the Lightwave Community Council
There are currently two vacancies for Lightwave Community Council who will be elected at the AGM so we are now inviting nominations. This is a marvellous opportunity to be a key part of the leadership of Lightwave at this exciting time and we’d encourage you to prayerfully consider if you or someone else in your group might be being called to serve God in this way. Nominations should be received by 9am on Monday 24th May and each nominee must be eligible and proposed by two other Lightwave Community electoral roll members. To nominate someone download the nomination form here.
